ArtisanArtisan

Reunion Tour 2010

When artisan 'retired' from the concert circuit in 2005 it seemed like the end of an era. After a twenty year career touring nationally and internationally from their home base in Birdsedge they decided it was time to hang up their tonsils. But they were careful never to say never again and a five year gap seems like just the right time for a short reunion tour spanning the whole of the UK from Inverness to Plymouth plus Canada, too. Expect new songs and old ones, Artsan's usual lighthearted delivery and some stunningly good vocals.

Harry RowlandHarry Rowland

We like Harry!

Harry won our Musical Youth competition on 2007 and since then has appreared at festivals both as a soloist and in bands. He's a folkie with leanings towards rock and roll so expect an great mixture of styles from this excellent young performer, both covers and his own songs. Keep and eye on Harry. We predict he's going places. And that means further than Denby Dale.

Geoff HigginbottomJolly JesterThe Jolly Jester/Geoff Higginbottom
Our lovely children’s entertainer, the Jester will be entertaining all the children on the field and also giving a show in the marquee with his songs, balloon modelling and silly jokes. His alter-ego, Geoff will be singing for us in the marquee later on Saturday afternoon. Geoff plays six and Twelve string guitar, bodhran and appalachian dulcimer as well as singing unaccompanied.
